宋泽 副教授

主讲人简介: 宋泽，现为南开大学经济学院副教授，经济学博士。研究方向为居民消费、社会保险和应用微观计量。在《经济研究》、《经济学（季刊）》、《金融研究》、《中国工业经济》、《中国人口科学》、China Economic Review、Economic Modelling等中英文重点期刊发表论文三十余篇，主持和参与多项国家社会科学基金、国家自然科学基金和教育部人文社科基金，获得天津市“131”创新型人才培养工程、天津市人文社科优秀成果奖等多项奖励。

讲座摘要：This paper examines how transportation infrastructure affects spatial marriage dynamics in China. Using population census and national high-speed rail databases, we find that HSR development significantly increases marriage rates in second-tier cities while reducing them in third-tier cities. Mechanism analyses show that HSR influences marriage formation by reshaping marriage markets, labor markets, and living costs. By lowering spatial frictions, HSR alters migration patterns across gender, age, and human-capital groups, thereby reshaping marriage-matching environments across the urban hierarchy.
